Weather Report Winds. North winds of approx. 7 - 12km. Birds are expected to encounter northerly winds until the Bordertown where the winds will shift north westerly of b/w 10 - 30km from ground level up to altitudes of approx. 750 meters. Liberation Report Participants. 71 WPF flyers with 1434 birds & 9 GCHC flyers with 88 birds a total of 80 flyers and 1522 birds. Liberation. Birds were liberated at 8am into a clear blue sky and a light north wind. The birds formed one group heading for home within one minute and out of site within two minutes. Production will be at 7pm.
